Florida is the oldest state in the nation with almost one-quarter of its residents over 60 years of age. This means that long term care opportunities are very important for many families and friends. There are many complex issues to understand. But most people don’t know very much about long term care until faced with the need for services. Families, friends, volunteers and advocates of all kinds are needed to be informal decision-makers and voices about long term care. Families 4 Care Advocacy Center's mission is to provide you with the tools to promote state and federal legislation that ensures quality long term care for our nation's frail elderly and persons with disabilities.
